Description
No. 14 Mill Lane is a house that likely dates from the late 18th century or early 19th century and has been enlarged and altered over time. It features white painted scored render on brick and has a graduated slate roof, with a chimney clad in concrete brick.
The exterior has a one-and-a-half depth, two-unit plan, now with large 20th-century extensions to the rear, which was previously the entrance front. The facade facing the road is a single storey with a two-window range. On the left, there is a small-paned three-light sliding sash window, and on the right, a slightly bowed three-light casement window. To the right of the facade is an extruded gable chimney, flanked by one-light windows, and there is a small gabled porch that overlaps with a flat-roofed extension at the rear.
The interior has not been inspected. This house forms a group with Nos. 6-10 to the right and No. 16 to the left.
