Description
4 and 6 Moss Lane are a pair of houses from the late 18th century that have been significantly altered. They are constructed of brick, with No. 4 now rendered and both painted white, topped with a slate roof. The houses have a rectangular one-and-a-half depth plan and are double-fronted.
The exterior features two storeys and a four-window range. No. 4 has been modified at the ground floor with a flat-roofed single-storey extension across the front and has two altered two-light casements at the first floor. No. 6 has a gabled porch with a glazed door and features two wide segmental-headed three-light casements at the ground floor, which have four-pane lights. It also has two equally wide three-light windows under the eaves, with four-pane lights and top-hung casement openings in the centre lights. A ridge chimney is located at the junction of the two houses. The interior has not been inspected.
