Description
21 and 23 Threlfalls Lane are a pair of houses, likely built in the late 18th century or very early 19th century, that have been altered and extended. They feature white painted render on brick and a graduated slate roof. The houses have a single-depth plan, with one unit each, plus a small front wing added to No. 21.
The exterior consists of two storeys. No. 23, which is the right-hand house, has a square-headed doorway on the right with a small window to its left. There is a 20th-century three-light oriel window at ground floor to the left and a shallow three-light casement window just below the eaves. No. 21, the left house, has a three-light casement window with 20th-century glazing at ground floor, and above this, a window of similar width has been heightened into a flat-roofed dormer in the late 20th century. There is also a late 20th-century single-storey gabled wing to the right of No. 21, with a ridge chimney at the junction of the two houses.
The interior has not been inspected. This pair of houses forms a group with No. 19 to the left.
