Description
No. 19 Threlfall's Lane is a house, likely built in the late 18th century or early 19th century, that has been altered over time. It features white painted render, probably over brick, and has a slate roof. The house has a single-depth, two-unit plan, with an added porch and a lean-to extension on the left side.
The exterior is single storey with a two-window range. There is a gabled porch slightly offset to the right, which has a doorway in the gable end and a two-light window on the left side. To the left of the porch, there is a three-light casement window with early 20th-century stained glass, and to the right, there is a small oriel window from the late 20th century. The ridge chimney is aligned with the porch, and there is an extruded gable chimney to the left, both of which are single-flued.
The interior has not been inspected. This house is notable as a surviving example of the single-storey type that was once common in the area. It forms a group with the adjoining houses, Nos. 21 and 23, to the right.
