Description

Nos. 38 and 40 North Park Road are a pair of late Victorian semi-detached houses. They are built of painted stucco and stand two storeys tall, featuring a band and slate roofs. Each house has a segmental arched doorway with a fanlight and a cornice supported by brackets. There is one bay window with a modillioned cornice and one segmental arched triple sash window, along with three segmental-headed sash windows above, all set in moulded cases. These houses are part of a loosely scattered group of listed items in North Park Road, South Park Road, Glovers Brow, and Mill Lane, which collectively maintain a village centre character.
