Description

The Cottage is a possibly 18th-century building located on Glovers Brow. It is constructed of handmade brick and has a slate roof, featuring two storeys and a plan of two parallel gabled blocks. The front of the building has two windows on each floor, all with three lights and casement designs, topped with segmental brick arched heads. The entrance is situated on the left-hand return side, within a small porch, and there are brick chimneys. The Cottage is part of a loosely scattered group of buildings in the area, which helps to maintain a village centre character.
