Description

Lytham House is a detached Victorian house dating from the 19th century. It is constructed of brick, with the ground floor faced in stucco and featuring horizontal grouting. The house is two storeys high, with a wooden eaves cornice and another cornice above the ground floor. The central doorway is round-arched, featuring a fanlight above a panelled concave jamb with pilasters and a round-arched head with panelled concave moulding. Flanking the doorway are bay windows with sash windows. Three sash windows are positioned above the doorway, set within moulded architraves. A gable end displays an open pediment and a central round-arched window. The house is located within a loosely scattered group of listed buildings in North Park Road, South Park Road, Glovers Brow and Mill Lane, which retain a village centre character.
