Description
Waverley House, also known as the Kirkby Conservative Club, is a Victorian villa built from brick with stone dressings and a slate roof. The building features a large square tower at the corner, rising three storeys high. It has a variety of windows, including segmental, round, and square-headed designs set in moulded cases, along with decorative bands, eaves, and a pyramid roof. The main façade showcases an elaborate stair window with a round arch and geometric tracery, as well as a round-arched attic window. This property is part of a loosely scattered group of listed items along South Park Road, North Park Road, Glovers Brow, and Mill Lane, which collectively maintain a village centre character.
