Description
Nos. 29 and 31 North Drive are a pair of houses built in 1867. They are constructed from common brick with red and blue brick bands, along with red and yellow brick dressings. The houses are two storeys high, with a basement and attic, and each house has two bays, with the end bays canted. They feature a top cornice and flush quoins. The segmental-headed windows have banded brick, keyed heads, and chamfered recessed yellow brick reveals, with the central bays having paired windows. The attic windows are pointed and located in gabled half dormers. All windows are sashed and do not have glazing bars. The entrances are located in enclosed porches on the returns, and there are reliefs of urns set in the return walls. This pair of houses is a little-altered example of the houses on the Victoria Park estate.
