Description

Nos. 6 and 8 are a pair of houses built in 1865, replacing an earlier structure. They are constructed of brick with a slate roof and feature a symmetrical front facing northwest, consisting of two storeys and two windows. The lower sides of the houses are set back to create porches. The walls are made of Flemish bond with blue headers, and there are cambered openings and a plinth. The windows are casements, and the doorways are plain. A central stack includes two inscribed stone plaques, one reading 'HFA 1699' and the other stating 'rebuilt 1865'. These houses are included for their group value.
