Description

Queen Anne Cottage is a house that has been converted into two cottages. It dates back to the 16th century, with a significant alteration in 1702, and has 20th-century extensions. The building is timber-framed and consists of three bays, topped with a thatched roof. It has one storey and an attic, featuring three windows above six. The roof is whipped, and the eaves are raised above the upper windows, which have cills at the eaves level. A chimney on the building has a stone plaque inscribed with "NP 1702." The frame is exposed and brick-nogged, with some older sections filled with banded brick and flint. The first cottage, No. 2, has a boarded door in a solid frame, while the other cottage has a rear entrance.
