Description

Rose Cottage is a mid-18th century building that was originally two houses but has been converted into one. It stands two storeys tall and features three windows. The walls are made of red brick laid in Flemish bond, with cambered openings on the ground floor and a plinth. The roof is hipped and thatched. The windows are casements, and there is a boarded door set in a solid frame; the other doorway has been filled in with a window. The upper walls at each end of the cottage display exposed timber framing with brick nogging.
