Description
Haigh Sawmill is a building dating from 1839 that has been converted into a house. It is constructed from dressed stone and features a slate roof. The building is two storeys high and consists of three bays. A projecting plain parapet is present, with the centre section raised to accommodate a clock face. The windows are fitted with small-paned glazing. The entrance includes a keystone above the lintel, along with a 20th-century doorcase and door. The roof is topped with an octagonal cupola supported by Tuscan columns and a cornice. There are gable-end stacks, and the rear of the building retains original glazing in one window.
