Description
Rose Villa is a house dating from the mid-19th century. It is constructed of stone, rendered on the front, and has a slate roof with boxed eaves. The house is two storeys high and has three bays. It follows a central stair hall plan, with a chimney stack on the left gable. A two-storey rear service wing, one bay wide and with a gable stack, was added later on the left side. A 20th-century door, with a narrow overlight, is set within a surround featuring a bracketed canopy. A similar door is located in the centre of the east gable. The windows are sixteen-paned sashes with stone sills, present on both floors.
