Description
Ger-y-Nant, also known as Brook House, is a house from the early 19th century, constructed of roughly coursed rubble with a slate roof. It stands three storeys tall and has three bays, along with a two-storey addition at the rear.
The front features a central part-glazed door and sixteen-paned sash windows, which have been renewed, while the second floor has eight-paned windows set beneath boxed eaves. There is an arch of a culvert in the end gable.
A single-storey extension was added to the right after 1870 when the Griffiths family opened a butcher's shop, which later became a post office. This extension includes a blocked door and a paned shop window.
