Description
Ty Mawr is a large house from the early 19th century, built of rubble stone and topped with a slate roof. It has three storeys and three bays, with a depth of two rooms and features gable stacks and a central through hall. The entrance includes an inset six-panelled door, with the upper panels being glazed, set within panelled reveals. Above the door, there is a bracketed flat dentilled canopy. The house has four-light sash windows set in segmental headed openings, although two of the three windows on the second floor are blind. The windows at the rear were replaced in the 20th century.
