Description

Five Lanes is a house dating from the early to mid-19th century. It is constructed of rendered stone rubble and features a hipped slate roof with two end stacks, each having rendered shafts. The building has a double depth plan with a central entrance and a rear addition that is likely from the 20th century.

The exterior is two storeys high and has a symmetrical three-bay front. The central entrance consists of a four-panel front door topped with a rectangular fanlight, flanked by reeded pilasters and a cornice. Above the door is a 12-pane 19th-century sash window, while the other windows are 16-pane sashes from the same period. The interior has not been inspected.
