Description
Croft House is a house dating from the early 19th century, although parts at the rear may be older. It features a stuccoed exterior with sections of blocked stone rubble and has a slate roof that is gabled at both ends. The building has two rear stacks, one made of brick and the other of stone.
The house is two storeys high and has a symmetrical three-bay front with a plinth. The central entrance consists of a four-panel front door topped by a rectangular fanlight with decorative glazing bars. The doorcase includes panelled reveals, scratch-moulded pilasters, and an entablature. On the ground floor, there are 16-pane sash windows with horns on either side of the door, while the first floor features three 8-pane sash windows with horns.
