Description
The lodge to Haigh Hall, built around 1830, is a single-storey stone building with a hipped slate roof. It features two rows of four bays and has wide eaves. The windows consist of two round-headed lights with leaded glazing, which includes lozenge quarries and Y-form heads, although these are now damaged as of 1986. The lodge has panelled external shutters and a segmental-headed entrance with a hollow-chamfered surround, leading to a six-panel door. There are four cross-axial stacks. The first bay on the left side projects forward, with an entrance to the second bay. The right side is similar but has only one window. The rear is made of dressed stone and has a gable.
