Description

This bridge, built in the 1780s, spans the entrance to the canal basin on the Leeds and Liverpool Canal. Constructed of stone, it features an elliptical arch with a band above, along with end piers and a parapet. The bridge was designed for the south branch of the Lancaster Canal.
