Description

The property at 13-17 Bondgate Without is a group of late 18th and early 19th century buildings on the south side of the street. It consists of three storeys, with No. 13 being two storeys in height. No. 15 has a later inserted attic. The buildings are constructed of plain ashlar and have a slate roof with raised verges and simple kneelers, along with two brick chimneys. The windows are largely glazing bar sash windows, although No. 15 has modern casements. No. 15 also features a late 19th to early 20th century shop front with four lights and angle windows to a central recessed entrance. No. 17 retains part of a segmental arch over a paired doorway, containing a six-panel door and a half-segmental fanlight. No. 13 has a two-storey, three-light bay window with a kneeler to the raised verges.
