Description

15 and 15A Abbey Foregate is a pair of shops located in Shrewsbury. The buildings date partly from the early 18th century but were refronted in the early 19th century. They are constructed of brick and feature a plain tiled roof. The structure has three storeys and a five-window range.

No. 15 has an early 20th-century shop front and 12-pane sash windows with flat-arched heads, while the attic storey has renewed casement windows. No. 15A has a rebuilt ground floor with two 12-pane sash windows and a doorway with a moulded architrave to the right. The upper windows on this building are also 12-pane sashes with cambered brick heads. The buildings have plain parapet eaves, and No. 15 features a crow-stepped coped gable on its steeply pitched roof, along with a gable end stack.
