Description
Bondgate Hall is a detached villa built around 1810, located on Bondgate Without. The building is two stories high with a basement and some attic space that is not visible from the front. It features a curved drive and is set back from the road. The façade has three windows, with the central one slightly projecting and topped by a pediment. The exterior is constructed of ashlar stone and has a moulded eaves cornice. The hipped slate roof is adorned with two brick chimneys.
On the first floor, there is one glazing bar sash window in the center, while the other windows have glazing bars arranged in a casement style. A central projecting porch, which is now glazed, has been added to the round-headed doorway. This porch is supported by Tuscan columns and features a cornice and blocking course with a small panel in the center. The entrance has steps with railings that curl at the bottom step, leading to a half-glazed door with a round-headed light above that has pointed glazing. The building also has three window returns on both the east and west sides.
