Description

A row of three houses dated circa 1830, located in Dursley Woodmancote. The houses are built with brick, largely covered in roughcast rendering, with brick chimneys and Welsh slate roofs, although No. 17 has concrete tiles. The three-storey block includes a single upper floor over an archway that’s part of No. 17.

The front has a two-window arrangement for No. 13, with a central doorway featuring a round-arched head, a timber open pediment, and moulded pilasters; the early 20th-century door incorporates stained glass. All windows on No. 13 have been altered to 20th-century casements. No. 15 also has a two-window arrangement, with a later 19th-century canted bay window to the left of a round-arched doorway with an open timber pediment and moulded pilasters. The middle floor has a 12-pane sash window, the upper floor a 9-pane sash, and the windows above the door are false painted sashes. No. 17 has a single-window arrangement on the main block, with a later 19th-century canted bay window to the ground floor, a 12-pane middle floor sash, and a 9-pane upper floor casement. A large segmental-headed archway is positioned to the right, featuring vertical plank doors and infill, with a 6-panel door to the left and a small-paned casement above. The rear of the properties was not accessible for inspection. The buildings are included on the list for their group value.
