Description

These are a pair of early to mid-19th century houses located on Coniscliffe Road, with No. 94 extending a rounded corner section into Cleveland Terrace. Each house originally had three storeys and two windows, although No. 94 has an additional two-storey section at the corner. The roofs are low-pitched and slate-covered, with a hipped roof over the corner section and ridge stacks. The houses are built of pinkish brick, with stone sills to the sash windows. The windows on the second floor have stone lintels, while those on the first floor have stone and stucco round heads set within round-arched recesses. Gauged round brick arches frame the ground-floor windows and the four-panel doors, which have plain fanlights above. The rear of No. 94 is two storeys high.
