Description

This is an early to mid-19th century pair of houses located on Coniscliffe Road. Each house is two storeys high and has two windows. They are built of pinkish brick with a low-pitched slate roof punctuated by chimneys at the centre and left end. The windows have stone sills and lintels and feature glazing bars. Original four-panel doors are set within doorcases constructed as pilaster-and-entablatures, each topped with a cornice head and a patterned oblong fanlight. Three stone steps lead up to the front doors.
