Description

126 Coniscliffe Road is a small villa from the early 19th century. It has two storeys, three windows, and one-storey side bays. The building is constructed of pinkish brick and features a stone-coped parapet that largely hides a low-pitched hipped slate roof with end chimneys. The sash windows, some of which have been replaced, are set beneath gauged brick flat arches on the ground floor and are framed by flush wood architraves above. There is a tripartite window in the right bay. Access is provided by three stone steps leading to a six-panel door, which has a cornice head and an oblong fanlight, all within a Doric doorcase that includes engaged fluted columns.
