Description
No 102 on Coniscliffe Road is a two-storey, three-window house dating from the early to mid-19th century, constructed of pinkish brick. It features end chimneys and a slated roof with a moderate pitch. The right side of the house has a full-height segmental bow that is curved in plan, which includes three sash windows with glazing bars on each floor. This bow is adorned with pilasters, a frieze, a cornice, and a blocking course. The remaining windows are recessed sash windows, also with glazing bars, and have stone cills and lintels. The entrance consists of a four-panel door set within a Doric doorcase, which is flanked by engaged fluted columns and topped with a modillion cornice.
