Description
7A Nevill Street is a three-storey brick building, now colourwashed, featuring bands at the first and second floor levels and a quoin pilaster on the right. It has a Welsh slate roof and a double depth plan with the entrance located on the right side. The façade includes two windows, a segmental headed door on the right with a four-pane transom light and a flush-panelled door. The windows have segmental arched heads and six over six-pane sashes, while the second floor windows are smaller with three over six panes. The building is topped with a cornice, a parapet, and has a plain roof with a gable stack.
Inside, the building has undergone alterations in the 20th century, but it retains a fireplace that appears to date from the late 16th century on the ground floor. This fireplace features rebuilt jambs and a massive stone lintel and is located in the corridor, likely a remnant of the previous house that once stood on the site. The rear elevation has not been inspected.
