Description
1 Nevill Street is a three-storey building with a double depth plan, featuring a stuccoed and painted exterior, a natural slate roof, and red brick stacks. The entrance is located on the left side. The façade includes two windows and a band at the second floor level, although the original rusticated quoins have been removed. The late 20th-century shop front has a low stall-riser, a deep fascia, and plain display windows on either side of the central door. The house door on the left is also from the late 20th century.
On the first floor, there are 8 over 8 pane sash windows with wrought iron flower grilles, while the second floor features smaller 8 over 8 pane sashes. The eaves are supported by paired brackets, and the roof has a low pitch with gable stacks. The rear elevation has not been inspected. The interior was not inspected during the resurvey, except for the ground floor shop, which has no visible historic features.
