Description
5 Glendower Street is a three-storey building constructed of red brick in English bond, topped with a Welsh slate roof that is tiled on the rear slope. The building has a double depth plan with the entrance located to the right. It features one window on the front facade, with segmental headed arches above the windows on the ground and first floors. The ground floor includes a widened 4 x 4 pane window and a doorway positioned to the right of this window. The doorway consists of a 6-panelled door, where the upper four panels are glazed, framed by an architrave and a small rectangular fanlight, and is topped with a hood supported by brackets. The first floor has a 6 over 6 pane sash window, while the window above it features a 3 over 6 pane configuration. The moderately pitched roof indicates an early 19th-century alteration, and there is a shared stack on the left ridge. The rear elevation has not been observed. The interior has not been seen during the resurvey.
