Description

37 Whitecross Street is a three-storey building with a rendered and painted exterior and a Welsh slate roof. It features a double depth central entry plan, although the bays are unevenly sized. The ground floor has a doorway with an open pediment supported by brackets, flanked by 2 over 2 pane sash windows. The first floor contains 6 over 6 pane sash windows set in elliptical heads, with a small late 20th-century window inserted between them. The second floor has 3 over 6 pane sash windows, also in elliptical heads. The roof is plain and includes a large brick stack on the right gable and a smaller rendered stack on the left gable. The rear elevation has not been seen, and the interior was not inspected during the resurvey.
