Description
The Hame is a two-storey building dating from the 19th century, featuring a stucco exterior painted with a Welsh slate roof. It has a double depth central entry plan and a three-bay front that is accentuated by four plain giant Doric pilasters. The doorway is topped with a pediment supported by scroll brackets and contains a six-panel door that is glazed at the top. Flanking the doorway are tripartite sash windows set in recesses; however, the window on the left was bricked up at the time of the previous listing description. The upper windows are 6 over 6 sashes with marginal glazing. The roof is hipped to the left and includes a tall brick stack on the left wall and another on the ridge to the right. The left return wall features a late 20th-century two-light window. The rear elevation has not been seen. The interior was not inspected during the resurvey.
