Description
Clent House is a building constructed of red brick with floor bands and a Welsh slate roof. It has a double depth plan with the entrance located on the right side. The structure stands three storeys tall with an attic and features three windows that are almost flush with the wall. These windows are 6 over 6 pane sashes set under segmental arches, although the sashes were replaced in the late 20th century. The entrance is framed by a Doric doorcase with a pediment and a radiating fanlight, leading to a six-panel door.
The house has a swept gabled dormer that reflects early 18th century design, along with paired stacks on the left gable. The rear elevation is partly hidden by an extension, but it includes a tall stair window and a mullion-and-transom window, both dating from the 19th century. There are also swept gabled dormers featuring 2 x 2 pane casements, which are early 18th century in character.
Details about the interior were not available during the resurvey.
