Description
7 Glendower Street is a three-storey building constructed of red brick in English bond, topped with a Welsh slate roof that is tiled on the rear slope. The building has a double depth plan with the entrance located to the left. It features two windows on the front facade, with segmental headed arches above the windows on the first and ground floors. On the ground floor, there is a sash window in the right-hand bay and paired doorways with architraves and small rectangular fanlights in the left-hand bay. The door to No. 7 is on the right, while the door to No. 9 is on the left. Both doors are topped with flat hoods supported by brackets, and the six-panelled doors have the top four panels in No. 7 cut away and glazed. The windows consist of six over six pane sashes on the ground and first floors, and three over six above. The moderately pitched roof suggests an early 19th-century alteration and features a shared stack at the right ridge. The rear elevation has not been seen. The interior has not been observed during the resurvey.
