Description
Nos. 4 and 6 Glendower Street are a pair of three-storey houses built with a double depth plan. No. 6 has roughcast render, while No. 4 is constructed of red brick in Flemish bond with Forest of Dean stone dressings and features a Welsh slate roof. Each house has two windows on the front. No. 4 has chamfered quoins, keyed window heads, and a modillion eaves cornice, along with an intact doorcase featuring an open pediment. No. 6 retains only the pediment. Both houses have 6-panel doors with radiating fanlights and six over six pane sash windows with stone cills, except for the second-floor windows, which are three over six pane. They have a moderate pitch M-roof with a shared ridge stack. A small garret window is located in the right return wall. The rear elevation was not seen, and the interior has not been inspected during the resurvey.
