Description
This building at 2 Church Street is a three-storey structure with a roughcast front that has been painted, featuring rusticated quoins and bands at both the first and upper floor levels, topped with a Welsh slate roof. It has a single window and a double depth plan. The ground floor likely features an early 20th-century shop front, which includes a central entrance and a house door to the left, along with panelled pilasters, plate glass windows, and a plain fascia. On the first floor, there is a canted oriel window with 6 over 6 pane sashes, flanked by 1 over 1 pane windows. The second floor has a recessed 2-light casement window with plain railings. The gable includes a single slight window and plain bargeboards. The rear elevation was not observed. The interior was not accessible during the resurvey, except for the shop premises.
