Description
3 Monnow Street is a three-storey building with a rendered and painted front and a Welsh slate roof, designed with a double depth plan and featuring two windows. The ground floor includes a late 19th-century shopfront, which has a slim stall-riser, narrow pilasters, and an overhanging cornice supported by brackets. The window on this level consists of five vertical panes divided by slim timber mullions. On the first floor, there are 6 over 6 pane sash windows, while the second floor has 3 over 6 pane sashes. The roof is plain and has a notably steep pitch. The rear elevation has not been observed. The interior was not seen during the resurvey.
