Description
2 Cross Street is a three-storey building with a rendered and painted exterior and a Welsh slate roof. It has a square double depth plan with a central entrance and features two windows on the front. The ground floor includes a late 20th-century shop front, which has aluminium framed plate glass windows and a continuous fascia. On the first floor, there are 8 over 8 pane sash windows, and a plat band runs between the floors. The second floor also has 8 over 8 pane sash windows, matching those on the first floor. The building has deep projecting eaves supported by paired brackets and a plain low pitch roof. Notably, a large stack on the party wall, visible in mid-20th century photographs, has since been removed. The rear elevation has not been inspected. The interior was not inspected during the resurvey, except for the entirely reconstructed ground floor.
