Description

8 St. Mary's Street is a three-storey building with a rendered and painted front and a Welsh slate roof, featuring a double depth plan. The facade includes three windows arranged in a 2:1 ratio. On the ground floor, there is a paired sash window on the left with 2 over 2 panes, two part-glazed doors in the center, and a 6 over 6 pane sash window on the right. The first floor has 2 over 2 pane sashes on the left and a 6 over 6 pane sash on the right. The upper floor features two 2 + 2 pane casements on the left and a 20th-century steel casement on the right. The roof is modestly pitched and has brick gable stacks. The rear elevation was not observed. The interior was not seen during the resurvey.
