Description
This is a double-fronted house located at 24 St. Mary's Street, built with painted render and roughcast, likely over brick, and topped with a Welsh slate roof featuring red brick stacks. The house has a double depth central entry plan and stands three storeys tall with two windows on the front. The ground floor includes a four-panel door with a transom light, flanked by 6 over 6 pane sash windows. There is a plat band present. On the first floor, there are 8 over 8 pane sash windows, while the second floor features 4 over 8 pane windows. All windows are equipped with stone cills. The roof is hipped with a low pitch and has tall stacks on either side wall. A roughcast gable wall remains against the south end wall, which overlooks the forecourt of the Roman Catholic Church of St. Mary. The rear elevation has not been seen. The interior was not observed during the resurvey.
