Description

This is a late 18th-century house, built as a pair, featuring pebble-dash render over likely brickwork and a Welsh slate roof. It is a balanced double-depth design with entrances on the outside, arranged over three storeys and featuring two windows on each floor. Horizontal bands delineate the first and second floors. The house has six-panel doors, each protected by a flat hood, and intact wrought iron area railings with spear heads. The windows are sash windows with largely intact glazing bars, with a tripartite window on the right-hand ground floor, containing 6 over 6 panes flanked by 2 over 2 panes, and keystone heads. The steeply pitched roof is of an "M" shape, incorporating a central shared chimney stack. The return gable walls are blank and rendered. The rear elevation was not inspected. The interior remains unexamined.
