Description
This is a house, likely dating from the 18th century, built in a double-depth central entry plan. It is two storeys high with an attic, and features two windows at the front. The exterior is rendered and painted, likely over brickwork, and has a Welsh slate roof. The front door is a six-panel flush door with a flat hood supported by brackets. The ground floor windows are 3-over-3 pane sash windows, with small half-panes on either side. The first floor windows are 2-over-2 pane sashes. A small, flat-topped dormer sits centrally in the roof, with 2-over-2 pane casement windows. The roof is hipped and includes a tall stack on the left wall, now incorporated into the adjacent property (number 12), and a truncated stack on the right return wall. A blind wing extends to the rear, with a further stack. Attached spearhead wrought iron railings and a gate are present. The rear elevation is also rendered, and a small wing adjoins the left side of the property. The interior was not inspected during a recent survey. This building possesses group value from its contribution to the character of the surrounding area.
