Description
This building, located at 8 Church Street, is a three-storey timber-framed structure with a rendered and painted front and a Welsh slate roof. The narrow front may have originally jutted out, a feature supported by the shopfront below. The shopfront includes a two-pane window flanked by house and shop doors, which have overlights, panelled pilasters, a low stall-riser, and a projecting fascia. On the first floor, there are three likely early 20th-century two-light casement windows, each with six small panes above. The upper floor features a central three-light window of a similar design. The rear elevation has not been observed.
While the interior was not available for resurvey, it is reported to have revealed timber-framed features within the shop premises.
