Description

The Boer War Memorial is a tall granite obelisk featuring polished granite inscriptions on its tapered sides. It has a carved wreath on the west face, along with a moulded cornice and plinth at the base, which is stepped. Surrounding the memorial is a square enclosure with railings made of sinuous wrought-iron Art Nouveau panels, topped with spear points, and supported by dwarf stonework walls.
