Description
Newton House is a mid-19th century, two-storey building featuring a two-window stucco front with neo-classical detailing. The roof on the left side is covered with pantiles, while the right side has slates with ridge cresting, and there are rendered and brick stacks. Thick band courses run above the ground floor, and the doorcases are offset to the right. The windows at No 32 are sash windows with glazing bars and slightly cambered heads, including a triplet on the ground floor. In contrast, No 33 has plain margins on its windows without glazing bars. Both houses have arched doors set in raised surrounds, complete with moulded architraves and keyblocks, and feature four-panel doors.
