Description
Trengrove House is a mid-19th century corner house featuring a three-bay front finished in pebbledash and topped with a slate roof that has stacks at the right end. The central bay is distinguished by giant pilasters and a bargeboarded cross-gable, along with a band course and plinth. The first floor has sash windows, while the ground floor has three-light sashes with glazing bars. The entrance is marked by a flat-arched doorcase with pilasters in antis, leading to a four-panel door and a plain fanlight.
The gable end facing Upper Thomas Street has a pediment and is adjacent to No 43 on the left. It includes a flat-pointed window at the apex and features sash windows, one of which is a tripartite design with glazing bars below.
