Description
The Merthyr Christian Centre is a building featuring snecked rubble facings complemented by ashlar bands and dressings, topped with slate roofs that have red tiled ridges and finials. The structure is crowned by a gable adorned with polygonal finials and narrow louvred openings. It includes a prominent 5-light window with lancets and blocked lights situated above a three-storey transverse extension. The narrow entrance gable showcases a plate-traceried window beneath scissor-braced bargeboards, flanked by two two-storey polygonal staircase turrets topped with conical roofs supported by eaves brackets, and narrow windows featuring stone lintels. A double flight of steps, flanked by stone piers and an iron balustrade (partly missing), leads up to the gabled doorway, which is highlighted by a dripstone.
