Description
The Church Hall at Capel Tabernacl is a building with a wide gabled front, constructed with snecked stone facings and pale freestone dressings. It features a slate roof that sits behind a kneelered parapet topped with a ball finial. The front includes triple ventilators set in a banded frame above a large first-floor arch, which is flanked by arched two-light windows that have hoodmoulds, nook shafts, and diamond glazing. The central section has three windows, with a blind thermal window treatment at the top. A porch gable rises through the sill, showcasing enriched arch-rings and nook shafts leading to double doors that are adorned with a traceried fanlight. Stepped triple windows illuminate the gallery stairs leading to the outer bays.
The flank elevations have five windows each, and there is a transverse hall range at the rear that continues in a similar architectural style. The property is enclosed by good area railings with twin gates and gatepiers that are topped by lamp-standards.
Inside, the hall is said to feature a ribbed barrel-vault with white clouds.
