Description
The former Hafod Copperworks river quay is a tall structure made of dressed sandstone, featuring flat stone copings. It runs straight for most of its length, beginning at its junction with a modern concrete river wall to the north and ending with a right-angled return near the southern end. This return was specifically designed to enable vessels to pull back from the river current. Additionally, there is a smaller return before a raised stop at the southern end of the quay.
